In August, Nike revealed a new theme, the “Nike Moving Company.” The Air Force 1 served as the starting silhouette with references to the fictional company found on the tongues and sockliners of each colorway. Now, it lands on the Air Max 97 as the style continues the celebration of its 25th anniversary.

For the Air Max 97 “Moving Company,” a balance of “Hemp/Stadium Green-Ale Brown-White” provides a unique color palette that seemingly references moving boxes with its brown shades. Utilizing the sneaker’s wavy linework, the upper toggles between “Ale Brown” and “Hemp” with seemingly sporadic brown embroidery throughout the lighter layer. “Stadium Green” serves as a key accent color at the small Swooshes, tongue detailing and heel tab that reads “NIKE MOVING CO.” in light brown. Additional thematic detailing is found on a unique lateral tag with the theme’s signature snail Swoosh logo. This logo can also be spotted on the tongue and sockliner. Lastly, the white sole unit shows off its Air technology to complete the look.

Release for the Nike Air Max 97 “Moving Company” is expected to take place in the coming weeks via Nike and select retailers at a price of $185 USD.

In other footwear news, LeBron James’ latest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 20, has been outfitted in Lakers colors with its “Violet Frost” makeover.
