Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike Ready Boisterous, Bootleg-Inspired Apparel Collection
Bright colors, bold logos and baggy fits.
Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike have established a strongly-defined visual language for their apparel collections: big logos, bold colors, boisterous details, baggy cuts and bootleg inspirations. Since their first co-created clothing drop in 2019, they’ve honed in the ethos even further and their latest collection, just revealed on Nike SNKRS is proof of concept for their signature look, spotlighted in a lookbook that stars Dexter Navy and was shot in Egypt.
Five pieces and one accessory are included in the collection: a jacket, a quarter-zip fleece, a crewneck sweatshirt, a polo shirt, pants, and, in a first for the CPFM x Nike partnership, a large blanket. The fisherman-inspired jacket is the centerpiece of the collection, as it’s loaded with pouches and pockets on both its chest and back while also featuring a floatie-inspired red Swoosh on its zipper and a water-repellent finish. Other highlights and quirks include the large Dri-FIT sock that’s stitched on the front of the crewneck and pulls double duty as a pocket, the all-over bootleg logo print on the quarter-zip fleece and the rich grass-inspired texture on the blanket.
As a release date for Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike’s quirky Flea 1 sneaker has yet to be announced, this apparel collection may serve as a potent precursor to its arrival. Expect all six pieces to hit SNKRS on October 27, with prices ranging from $135 USD for the polo to $400 USD for the jacket.
