Jordan Brand tends to cater to its fans that are interested in player exclusives by often recreating certain colorways for the masses. We’ve seen this occur with the Air Jordan 5 “Apple Green” which was reminiscent of a rare Oregon PE as well as the Air Jordan 3 “Valor Blue” that reminded us of a Tar Heel PE, and now we’re seeing this arise again with this newly-surfaced Air Jordan 5 “Aqua” colorway.

The kicks are an unofficial homage to one of Chris Paul‘s exclusives. Nubuck uppers are crafted with solid black backdrops the mid-foot is styled with translucent netting. Colorful hits arrive by way of “Aqua” hits that sprinkle to the various Jumpman logos, interior liners and treading while a golden yellow hue is tossed onto the midsole spikes. Both of these accents represent the veteran point guard’s playing days with the at-the-time New Orleans Hornets.

Initial images of the pair can be viewed in the gallery above, and early reports have these slotted to launch on January 23. The retail price is set at $200 USD.

For other news, an Air Jordan 37 wrapped in Toronto Raptors colors has been unveiled.
