Upcoming adidas Member’s Week Sees Campus 80 Towelie Restock
It’s high season on the CONFIRMED app.
In celebration of 4/20 last year, adidas released its Campus 80s Towelie where it decked out the classic sneaker model with South Park character’s defining features. After an initial rapid sell-out, the sportswear brand is bringing the silhouette back once again for its exclusive Member’s Week raffle.
Marking the first collaborative sneaker between adidas and South Park, the Campus 80s Towelie will return in the same design as the original last year. The kicks combine secret elements – such as its hidden stash pockets under the tongue – which had fans in awe of its playful tactility, as well as light-sensitive eye graphics that transition from white to red. Other references to Towelie include a purple terrycloth towel upper which diverts from the typical suede dressings of Campus models.
The model will see a limited-run restock on the CONFIRMED app next week. But, in light of Member’s Week, adidas will also release a daily set of Golden Tickets which will give lucky winners the chance to get an automatic cop on the Towelie release.
