Balenciaga's Winter 2022 "360° Collection" HD Sneaker Has Arrived

It’s been quite the week for Demna‘s Balenciaga. From launching its re-sell program to dominating Paris Fashion Week with its Summer 2022 presentation, “The Mud Show,” the luxury label just does not seem to stop grabbing those headlines. Now, much of its Winter 2022 “360° Collection” has been released, and finally, its HD Lace-Up Sneaker has dropped.
The sneaker was seen on many looks during the blizzard runway, and now it arrives in both the black and beige colorways. Made entirely from rubber, the HD is not too far off from the house’s Mold Closed Slide. Here, laces make this pair particularly different to that slide-on style, while a considerably chunkier and heavy-duty aesthetic further sets this pair apart.
It’s a sculptural sneaker, one that is both tactile and also light, making it perfect for tackling the trails and tougher terrain. This is achieved thanks to various grooves and ridges on the outsole, as well as a thick midsole that’s bumpered with contoured edging. Likewise, undulations and holes in the upper add to this trekking aesthetic, while sporty undertones are referenced with the “B” branding on the heel cup and the curved toe, it too bearing Balenciaga’s moniker.
