Jonathan Anderson has a thing for bold prints — cast your mind back to the LOEWE x Spirited Away collection which saw some items, like a $200 USD candle, being resold for an optimistic price of $451,049 USD. Now, under his eponymous label JW Anderson, comes the Fall/Winter 2022 collaboration with the beloved 1980s South Korean cartoon franchise, Run Hany.

While listed as a womenswear collection, there are plenty of pieces in this collaborative drop that can work for men just as well. Take the classic white T-shirt for example, which sees JW Anderson’s moniker re-made in Run Hany‘s font, also appearing on a gray crewneck knit. For something bolder, semi-sheer underpinnings are done over with cartoon love hearts, while this digital printing method has also been used to place characters all over another skin-tight offering.

Elsewhere, the Chain Baguette Anchor Bag and Bumper-Moon silhouette get similar comprehensive makeovers sporting Run Hany motifs, emulating some of the LOEWE styles that came a few seasons ago — but at a much more affordable price. For full looks, JW Anderson preps a track jacket and pants in navy with JWA emblazoned on both items, whereas another top combines the signature JW Anderson ring pull on the neck with cartoon characters on the front. Each graphic has been recreated by the original artist, which finally find themselves decorating a pair of kitten heels.

Take a look at the Rob Mailer Howat-shot campaign and the collection above, and shop it online or in JW Anderson’s flagship Soho, London store now.
