Take a First Look at the Nike ZoomX StreakFly
Designed for short-distance runners.

Expanding on its running footwear lineup, Nike has now unveiled its latest running shoe the “Nike ZoomX StreakFly.” Designed for short-distance runners, the ZoomX StreakFly is engineered specifically for both training and racing distances of 5-10 kilometers.
The upper of the ZoomX StreakFly features a streamlined lightweight and breathable engineered mesh upper like the rest of Nike Running’s flagship footwear models. Elevating the shoe are full-length ZoomX cushioning midsoles outfitted with responsive Pebax plate at the midfoot paired with rubber outsoles.
Showcased in the “Prototype” colorway, the take is inspired by the sample wear-tested by athletes during the development of the ZoomX StreakFly. The development of the shoe is highlighted through test number markings and the model’s intended running distances on the medial side.
“We learned there was a bit of a gap in our racing line between what we offered for the full and half marathon, and what we offered for competition on the track. To better serve athletes who race and train on the roads for the 10k and 5k, we set out to develop a shoe that would still offer them a comfortable, lightweight, propulsive ride with more connection to the ground,” said Elliott Heath, Nike Running Footwear Product Manager.
Priced at $160 USD, take a first look at the Nike ZoomX StreakFly set to release in the coming weeks above.
