Take an Official Look at the Nike Air Trainer 1 Utility "Light Smoke Grey" and "Dark Smoke Grey"
An update to the late ’80s classic Air Trainer 1.
Following a series of early looks, we now have an official look at the Nike Air Trainer 1 Utility “Light Smoke Grey” and “Dark Smoke Grey.” Originally reported to be linked to Travis Scott, the updated takes on the late classic Air Trainer 1 introduced in 1987 will now arrive as a general release.
Coming in “Light Smoke Grey/Honeydew/Particle Grey” and “Dark Smoke Grey/Black/Iron Grey/Off Noir” colorways, the Nike Air Trainer 1 Utility explores a trail hiking aesthetic defined by rugged detailing.
The upper of the shoe features a ballistic mesh accented by hard-wearing synthetic materials. Additional detailing comes in the form of heat-welded overlays, reflective 3M elements, thick webbing and velcro strap buckle lockdowns. Finishing up the design of the shoe are contrasting midsoles paired with rugged rubber outsoles.
Priced at $140 USD, the Nike Air Trainer 1 Utility “Light Smoke Grey” and “Dark Smoke Grey” are now set to release in the coming weeks.
For more footwear news, the Nike React Atlas recently received an “Olive/Aqua” colorway.
