Nike Preps for Warmer Days With This Dunk Low "Sun Club" Colorway
Uppers are crafted with multi-colored panels and a blend of canvas and leather fabrics.
The warmer months of Spring and Summer are still a handful of months away, but Nike is already getting prepared to release a handsome bunch of new kicks that align with the seasonal transitions. One of the makeups on the brand’s release calendar is the Nike Dunk Low “Sun Club” which has just surfaced onto our radar by way of early on-foot imagery.
Instead of the utilizing the traditional smooth leathers for the uppers of these kicks, the Swoosh design team switched gears and crafted them with canvas base layers and tumbled leather overlays. Pastel accents are what purloin most of the attention here as the lateral walls come designed with coral quarters, leaf-y green collars and golden yellow Swooshes while the medial is cooked up with an aquatic blue mid-foot and bright blue Nike checks. Overlays are done up in beige and come accented with dusty orange tongues and soft pink toe boxes. Tongues discard their usual traditional branding and have a “Nike Sun Club” notation while the lower heels are accessorized with palm tree and sun imagery.
