Mizuno Heads to the Hidden Leaf Village for 'NARUTO Shippuden' Contender Release
Featuring the original Team 7.
Mizuno has just released a new series of Contenders themed on the anime/manga NARUTO Shippuden.
The release sees colorways that take on the three main characters of Konohagakure — The Hidden Leaf Village — Team 7: Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto, and Haruno Sakura. The model from 1995 also features details from the series like the snake print on Sasuke’s pair — referencing Orochimaru’s cursed seal, and a toad pattern for Naruto’s — signifying the summon that was passed down from Jiraiya. Each pair also has crest embroidery at the heel and tongue.
Priced at ¥13,200 JPY (approximately $115 USD), the NARUTO Shippuden x Mizuno Contender can be found now over at Mizuno Shop and JUMP SHOP.
