Blondey McCoy Gives a Sneak Peek at His Upcoming adidas A.B. Gazelle
A hybrid fusion of the Gazelle Indoor, Indoor Super, Wensley and the Blondey Superstar.
Following the debut of an inspired Gazelle hybrid edition utilizing bits from the Superstar and Wensley silhouettes, Blondey McCoy and adidas are linking up once again to bring out a new trio of A.B. Gazelles. The English designer and skater looks to launch a new capsule apparel collection following the release of THAMES MMXX’s silver jewelry series on top of a number of additional see-through Superstars.
Blondey took to Instagram to tease about the latest A.B. Gazelle to release in gray, black and blue colorways which will also be joining the release of the capsule collection. Taking a look at the slate black pair, the shoe is another hybrid variation fusing the Gazelle Indoor, Indoor Super, Wensley and the Blondey Superstar. The uppers showcase a ripstop base with strips of glossy TPU to provide supplementary durability. Further adorning the design are the rope laces and gum rubber outsole.
“They are, essentially, indoor football shoes with high-shine accents, reminiscent of dress shoes that might be worn with a tuxedo to some bullshit charity ball or another,” indicated in the post’s caption by Blondey.
Look out for the A.B. Gazelle in gray to release exclusively on THAMES MMXX’s website while the black and blue variations are to see wider distribution in the coming weeks.
