AMBUSH®︎ WORKSHOP FW22 Takes Workwear to New Heights
Utilizing an array of recycled and organic fabrics for the first time.
Yoon Ahn is no stranger to taking an experimental approach to elevating dress notes. With this imaginative mindset, the Korean-American designer takes workwear to new heights with AMBUSH® WORKSHOP’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
The collection features a range of knitwear like color-blocked cardigans, relaxed pants in classic shades of black and midnight blue, a hiking-inspired multi-cord drawstring hoodie, structural tailoring and more. Knit pieces exhibit Ahn’s playful experimentation as the AMBUSH® logo changes color with met with light from the sun — serving as a nod to nature’s intersection with technology. Furthering this agenda, the collection also utilizes an array of recycled and organic fabrics for the first time. Fabrics like cotton and corduroy have been washed to reveal a vintage style effect and come in shades of olive green, toasted sesame, chestnut and more.
Outerwear pieces serve as a collection highlight featuring voluminous injection-created down jackets in salamander orange and multicolored geometric designs, color-blocked varsity-style jackets and a deep brown shearling jacket. Another standout outerwear piece is a coat that showcases the AMBUSH® monogram only when it comes in contact with water. Footwear offerings include the brand’s rubber boots in primary colors, neutral-toned sneakers and chunky hiking boots. Finishing off the collection is a playful array of jewelry that fuses strawberries, cherries and bananas with natural stones.
