Teased earlier this year as part of N.HOOLYWOOD’s COMPILE label presentation, the brand’s latest “REBEL FABRIC BY UNDERCOVER” Fall/Winter 2021 capsule has finally landed, in celebration of the brand’s 20th anniversary.
In the second edition of the inter-brand project that draws on UNDERCOVER’s fabric design, designer Daisuke Obana taps its Spring/Summer 1996 camo-laden archives. Reproducing the print through a N.HOOLYWOOD lens, the camo is updated in a nuanced fashion bringing a pixelated look to the design. Like REBEL FABRIC’s former capsule, the range continues to breaks stereotypes in uniform and traditional wear.
The 13 item capsule is complete with coats, shirts, T-shirts, bags and the addition of a Dickies-made shirt and tapered Gramicci Slacks. All the garments take on the “REBEL CAMO”, with refined silhouettes that place the print within a modern perspective.
Bringing an overall delicate feel to the collection, the lookbook is modelled on expressive dancers in beige body suits with paper flowers. Take a closer look in the gallery above.
Find the collection on N.HOOLYWOOD’s website now, retailing from ¥9,900 – ¥85,800 JPY (approximately $90 – $779 USD).
