Earlier this month, the San Francisco rapper first announced the album with the release of “The Announcement,” though the song does not appear on the upcoming record’s tracklist. Last week, G-Eazy put out the first single to appear on These Things Happen Too: “Breakdown” featuring Lovato.

“Feel like I’m breakin’ in places they put the pressure on/I’m the one in my circle they all dependin’ on,” he raps on the lead single. “To do it though, I need these drugs I’ve become dependent on/Someone tried to confront me, now we don’t get along.”

The new album will arrive as the sequel to G-Eazy’s breakout album, These Things Happen, which was released in 2014. Since then, the artist has put out several records including When It’s Dark OutThe Beautiful & DamnedB-Sides and Everything’s Strange Here.

In more music news, Rihanna says she is “experimenting” with her next album.
