Italian luxury house Ermenegildo Zegna already has a suite of fragrances that tap into the brand’s roots, and now, the label is extending the assortment with a new  scent collection. Pivoting from its more established offerings in the fragrance sphere, the teased scent series is promising to be an unexpected twist on the typical. In fact, if the collection’s name , XXX (pronounced “triple stitch”) is any indication, the latest from Zegna will be a bold olfactory statement.

While XXX by Ermenegildo Zegna has yet to drop, it’s clear that the trio of fragrances will continue to tap into the spirit of the luxury house, known for its distinct and unbridled take on unparalleled craft. The scent was conceived as an experimental expression of this, with the aim of encouraging those who wear it to be emboldened by the mashup of classic perfumery and olfactive discovery. This comes through in a range of three products, XXX Verdigris, XXX Cyprium and XXX Charcoal. Each takes on a distinct smell and spirit by way of multidimensional combinations that merge traditional ingredients with unexpected and avant garde accords.

More than just a new collection of fragrances, XXX by Ermenegildo Zegna is breaking the mould in the same way the label skirts the rules on the runway.
