Despite Space Jam: A New Legacy being out on our streaming services for a few months now, James and Nike are still honoring his lead role with this pair of hardwood-ready sneakers. For the most part, the shoes lean on a white backdrop and translucent gridded upper for styling. However, it’s the accents and the underlying patterns that really boost this colorway’s spirit. A brighter blue tone accents through the laces and borders of the throat, tongues and lateral and medial heels, while maps of Nike World Headquarters and Warner Brothers‘ lots are printed in black throughout the base. Inside the shoes, the insoles come decorated with milky way graphics and the film’s official logo.
A release date for these has yet to be announced, but it’s likely that Nike could be dropping these in the coming weeks.
