A recent Twitter interaction between Kid Cudi and Lil Nas X has revealed that the possibility of the two collaborating on a project in the near future might be imminent.

Lil Nas X recently revealed his much-anticipated album, Montero‘s tracklist. While many fans were excited for the release and were impressed with the features list which includes artists like Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus and Megan Thee Stallion, others ook to Twitter to criticize the fact that Lil Nas did not have any Black male features. One user pointed out that only “women and white men” were involved with his project.

However, Kid Cudi seemed to have stepped into the conversation and responded to the Tweet saying that he is open to working with Lil Nas X and seemingly ready to change the perceptions of his fellow artist’s album. He playfully wrote, “I’ll work w u and frolic in rose gardens w u singin about my pain.” Cudi is no stranger to controversial comments. Earlier this summer, many have taken to social media to criticize the rapper on painting his nails, making rude comments and attacking his character. At the time, Cudi took to his own Twitter to denounce these fans and asked them to no attend his shows or buy his albums.

Check out the Twitter interaction below.
