It’s safe to say it’s been a busy 2021 for Padmore & Barnes. From collaborations with PLEASURES and HANON earlier this year, to more recent link-ups with JJJJound and POETS, the footwear label shows no signs of slowing as it unveils its forthcoming release with fellow Irish brand ilk.
Located some 100 miles apart, this release marks the first time Padmore & Barnes has collaborated with another brand from Ireland. ilk, which is based in the north east, is best known for its adaptable all-year-round clothing, and its unique sourcing of fabrics. Now, alongside Padmore & Barnes, the duo applies its expertise into two takes of the P204 Wallabee.
Sat atop a durable Heva tree crepe sole, each shoe is crafted with a hand-stitched soft suede upper that arrives in either “Stout” or “Grain” colorways. Decorated with a laser-etched ilk logo on the heel and a branded fob, each pair comes equipped with a branded suede brush, inside a Padmore & Barnes shoebox with gold foil branding.
Set to drop on October 1, the ilk x Padmore & Barnes P204 capsule will be available from the ilk webstore.
