Dr. Martens and Haven Prepare Mixed-Material 1461 Collaboration
Producing using different leathers from C.F. Stead.
After linking up with A-COLD-WALL* and Suicoke last month, Dr. Martens has now partnered with Haven for its latest release. The collaboration focuses on the 1461 silhouette, which has been reworked by the Canadian stalwart with a mixed material upper and subtle new details.
The 1461 has been reconstructed using leathers from C.F. Stead, one of the most prestigious tanneries in Britain. A classic calf leather is used across the shoe’s upper, while Culatta full-grain leather features across the guard and backstrap. This is finished with a BEN outsole, hexagonal eyelets and a C.F. Stead-branded tag.
The Haven x Dr. Martens 1461 is due to release on October 2, and will be available from the Dr. Martens web store, Haven web store and select stockists.
