AZ Factory Announces Alber Elbaz Tribute Featuring Raf Simons, Virgil Abloh and More
44 houses and designers will each present a look inspired by the late designer’s legacy.

AZ Factory has announced the 44 houses and designers taking part in the “Love Brings Love” fashion show, a tribute to the late Alber Elbaz. Elbaz passed away earlier this year aged 59, less than two years after he had founded the AZ Factory label.
“Love Brings Love” is inspired by the Théâtre de la Mode, a 1945 exhibition in Paris which features more than 60 couturiers. Announcing the show, AZ Factory said, “Alber had long dreamt of uniting his wider fashion family for a new, modern iteration of its own. This year, with the help of all those who loved him, AZ Factory will bring Alber’s biggest dream to life.”
Each of the participating designers and houses taking part in the fashion show will present one look, which is either a bespoke creation inspired by Elbaz’s legacy or a new take on an iconic silhouette. Notable names joining the event include Raf Simons, Virgil Abloh, Rei Kawakubo, Demna Gvasalia and Kim Jones, while Lanvin — where Elbaz was creative director for 14 years — will be represented by Bruno Sialelli. The full list of designers and houses can be seen below.
The “Love Brings Love” fashion show will take place on October 5, and will be livestreamed via the AZ Factory website, as well as on YouTube and Instagram.
