The Reebok Zig Kinetica II has served as one of the sportswear giants’ biggest collaborative canvases, having been transformed by Brain Dead, Helen Kirkum, and more recently as an A$AP Nast-teased Edge iteration, and now the latter is set to arrive in two general release colorways.

Dropping in “Modern Beige” and “Core Black,” the Zig Kinetica II Edge acts as Reebok‘s sustainably-minded and rugged option in the line-up of shoes. Like the A$AP Nast version, the pair comes fitted with a Floatride Fuel midsole, a Floatride Energy toe cap, and a Vibram Ecostep outsole with strategically-placed studs for added grip, with the Vibram fitment working its way all around the shoe and even making out the rear heel cup.

An upper using at least 30% recycled materials is made to be tactile and hardwearing, while elements such as the webbing strap that runs over the toe, the mesh under panel that incorporates the Reebok vector logo into its mid-panel, and the rope lacing system only enhance the utilitarian design features.

Elsewhere, we find Vibram branding on the aforementioned heel clip, dual webbing straps on the heel, a toggle function to tighten the rope laces, and plenty of contrast stitching on both pairs to add to the tactile aesthetic. Rounding out the design is the speckled detailing on the Vibram outsole, matching the design of A$AP Nast’s pair.

Both colorways of the new Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge are set to drop on sites such as Sivasdescalzo on October 1, costing €140 EUR each (or $163.50 USD). Take a closer look at both pairs above.
