Florida Gators Football Program Previews a New Air Jordan 5 Low Cleat PE
Expect to see the Gainesville squad flex these on the field this season.
College football season is upon us, and with a fresh batch of gridiron games slated to go down over the coming months, Jordan Brand will be supplying the schools it sponsors with special player exclusives. To kick things off, the Beaverton-based company has fashioned a special Air Jordan 5 Low cleat for the University of Florida to be used for on-field purposes.
Save for the lateral heel areas and silver-coated tongues, both of which are dressed with the Gainesville-based institution’s Gator head logo, the uppers of these shoes are mostly dyed with a bold blue hue. The laces, eye stays and interior liners slightly accent with various aquatic shadings, while the model’s quarter panel netting arrives with a translucent appearance. Down below, the cleats are drenched with a matching blue backdrop and come designed with white speckled detailing and hints of green gradience to match up with the university’s mascot insignia.
This newest take is slightly different as orange — the college’s secondary color — isn’t utilized as much as the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 5 PEs that we’ve seen in recent years. Check out a closer look up above and expect Jordan Brand to preview more college-themed kicks as the season progresses.
