Meek Mill and Lil Uzi Vert Release New Track and Video "Blue Notes 2"
Directed by Kid Art and co-directed by the Philadelphia rapper himself.
Meek Mill has teamed up with Lil Uzi Vert for a new song and accompanying music video titled “Blue Notes 2.” The music video, which dropped today, was directed by Kid Art and co-directed by the Philadelphia rapper himself.
Featuring a dark blue visual effect overlay, Meek Mill and crew are seen riding on ATVs at night. Meek Mill discusses aspects of turmoil and the subsequent triumph that came from it: “All of my money is blue, riddle me this/I supposed to go get money, and keep doin’ favors and give all my money to who?” Lil Uzi Vert comes in later to reiterate the same sentiment: “Twenty-thousand at best, she ain’t dumpin’ me/I’m on point ain’t no b*tch out here runnin’ me/Lamborghini, the same color Bumblebee/Pull up Cullinan, same color, butter seats.”
Meek Mill has been busy lately as she just teamed up with Lil Baby and Lil Durk for “Sharing Locations,” which was released last week. Before its release, “Sharing Locations” was teased this past January on Meek Mill’s Instagram account. Additionally, the song was produced by Nick Papz, Xander, KJ and Svdominik. Earlier this month, Meek Mill also released “Mandela Freestyle,” which celebrates the Nelson Mandela Changemaker Award he received.
