Following on from its IRL and in-game Fortnite collaboration, Balenciaga has now announced the opening of a new London location. Situated on Sloane Street in West London, the 722-square-meter space marks the debut of Raw, a new architectural concept designed to both preserve and accentuate the site.

Located over two floors, the space features an aged façade to tie it in with the stonework of its near neighbors, while also contrasting against the large windows and backlit Balenciaga sign. Inside the store, the Raw concept sees the building’s functional elements on display. This includes electrical wires, air ducts and support beams visible through a metal grate, while the poured concrete floors are stained and cracked.

Sitting against the broken concrete and jagged tiles are soft, worn-leather seats, with corroded metal structures displaying digital video screens, LEDs and Balenciaga items.

In related news, the price list for the Fortnite x Balenciaga collection recently surfaced.
