YG and K-Swiss Bring the Bling On Their Classic VN “Disco” Collaboration
A glittering, silver-covered take on K-Swiss’ most famous lifestyle model.
Between his 4Hunnid brand’s clothing and his flame-equipped Block Runner sneaker, Compton-born rapper YG has established a signature West Coast look that’s equal parts sportswear and old-school street elegance. Now, YG is embarking on his first collaborative footwear journey, partnering up with K-Swiss for a blinged-out Classic VN dubbed the “Disco.”
The first in a line of several YG x K-Swiss collaborations, the “Disco” takes the famed white leather build of the brand’s Classic tennis shoe and amplifies it tenfold with sparkling silver sequins. The shoe’s signature 5-stripe design is left unembellished for contrast, while metallic flair is provided by metal D-rings that serve as the eyestays. A co-branded YG x K-Swiss hit is present on the insole and the shoebox alike, with white laces, white midsoles and white outsoles finalizing the look.
“You gotta have confidence to wear ‘em how I wear ‘em,” said YG while discussing his first K-Swiss sneaker. “You gotta have swag, you gotta have sauce.”
The YG x K-Swiss Classic VN “Disco” is set to release exclusively via Foot Locker’s webstore and select Foot Locker locations on August 25 at 10 AM EST. It’s priced at $120 USD.
