From gummy bear-inspired offerings with Haribo to floral-covered Baskets made alongside Liberty of London, PUMA has participated in a plenty of collaborative dealings as of late. And now, the German corporation is tapping into the digital world for a joint footwear and apparel collection with Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

There are three silhouettes involved in this playful capsule: Suede, Wave Rider and the Future Rider. The Suede is fashioned with a beige hairy suede base layer and comes devised with triple stacked side stripes that bear leafy graphics from Tom Nook’s aloha-style shirt. In addition, the shoes are formed with translucent sole pieces, tongue labels that feature a co-branded hit and a leaf hangtag.

The movement of city life is what inspires the Wave Rider installment of this assemblage. Nylon uppers are executed with a beige tone and come decorated with an Animal Crossing resident print atop the toe boxes and quarters. Adjacent to these details are a translucent formstrip, along with sand, blue and green suede overlays and an embroidered leaf insignia that arrives on the heels.

Lastly, the adventurous Future Rider completes the pack. Top halves alternate between nylon, canvas and suede materials and feature the Animal Crossing leaf logo on the heels. Its various overlays call upon minty teals and dusted pinks and purples for styling and the TPU mold that’s planted on the lower lateral heel references the video game’s design elements.

Dropping alongside the kicks are matching apparel that includes a character-adorned pullover hoodie, a tee that’s dressed with all-over leaf patterns, a long-sleeved tee sweatpants and shorts.

Check out a closer look at the collection up above and note mark your calendars for a September 18 release.

In other footwear news, PUMA celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Nipsey Hussle’s ‘The Marathon Continues’ with a special RS-X3.
