Nike ISPA Drifter "NTRL" is Crafted With Hemp Uppers and Cork Outsoles
The Swoosh’s Tabi-inspired model gets cooked up with an artisanal approach.

If you’re looking for footwear models that straddle the line between sporty and fashionably unconventional, then Nike‘s ISPA family can be your go-to place to look. One of its members — the Nike ISPA Drifter — has been looking to gain some steam as of late as it was recently dropped in a hand-dyed “Indigo” colorway, and now it’s expanding its catalog even further with a new “NTRL” makeup.
This newest iteration to surface is built with an artisanal approach and is engineered with Earth-friendly materials, as this speaks to its moniker that is likely shorthand for “natural.” Most of the upper constructions are created with a beige hemp material that bears a tile-esque pattern, while suede overlays slightly contrast with a lighter gray hue. Darker beige notes are sprinkled to the laces and the ISPA ribbons that affix to the mid-foot, the former of which are decorated with black polka dot patterns. Additionally, the Nike ZoomX midsoles, heel clips and cork outsoles of these Tabi-influenced kicks are all crafted with recycled scraps.
Parties who fancy these sustainable sneakers can find Nike France dropping them on September 15 for €200 (approx. $236 USD).
