The adidas YEEZY 500 Gets Molded in New "Brown Clay" Colorway
An earthy style that’s perfect for the fall.
It’s a week of Kanye West, as after DONDA, his tenth studio album, dropped unexpectedly on Sunday we’re now getting a look at the latest model from his YEEZY line with adidas: the YEEZY 500 “Brown Clay.” An earthy, autumnal sneaker with a boot-like color scheme, the “Brown Clay” will be the first new YEEZY 500 colorway to hit the market since the YEEZY 500 “Taupe Light” dropped in June.
Revealed by Instagram sneaker leaker influencevisions_, the YEEZY 500 “Brown Clay” takes its moniker quite seriously, as it’s dressed from heel to toe in various brown shades. These include a dark brown mesh upper and tongue plus smooth brown leather and suede forefoot overlays. Shaggy, soft brown suede detailing on the toebox, eyestays, collar and more provides luxurious textured contrast, while synthetic mudguards add further to the layered look. Down below, things are wrapped up by a brown midsole with a full-foot adiPRENE cushioning setup.
The adidas YEEZY 500 “Brown Clay” has been rumored for a September 18 release date, though this has yet to be confirmed by YEEZY or adidas. Its MSRP will likely be set at $200 USD.
