Noah Reveals Its Borderless FW21 Collection
“Creativity and creators have no boundaries.”
Following NOAH and Union LA’s 30th Anniversary Capsule, Noah has revealed a range of retro-inspired clothing for its FW21 collection, blending workwear, sportswear, and classic tailoring.
In a press release, Noah Founder & Creative Director Brendon Banbenzien shares the inspiration behind the collection. Banbenzien reminisces about a specific memory in his youth when a DJ lost his job after a radio station decided to change music formats, causing the DJ to burn disco records in a baseball stadium. This ignited what the media labeled a “war amongst genres” as the popularity of disco plummeted. Banbenzien still remembers his frustration at the time feeling that “this was contrary to the entire spirit of artistry – and that musicians certainly would not subscribe to this type of limiting behavior.” The Noah FW21 collection aims to “celebrate and embrace the idea that creativity and creators have no boundaries.”
The collection ranges from suit sets to heavy corduroy jackets and hoodies. Highlights include the grey cross country wool sweater, retro Roxy Music graphic T-shirt and tiger-print bomber. Other pieces include music-inspired printed T-shirts, relaxed dress pants, dark-wash jeans, trenchcoats, beanies and shirts.
The FW21 collection is now available at Noah’s NYC Flagship store and Noah Hideout Amagansett, and will be available at NOAH’s website and Noah Clubhouse, Tokyo on August 19, Noah Noodle Shop, Osaka on August 21, and Dover Street Market LA and London on August 26. New products will release at physical locations every Thursday.
