Cherry LA‘s latest collection drew inspiration from vintage postcards and hopes to inspire a sense of wanderlust.

“More than anything, we’ve missed getting to travel with the ones we love,” the company said in a press release. “Our third and final release from our SS21 collection is all about the places we can’t wait to go with the people we can’t wait to see.”

“A Brighter Future” is the company’s third and final release from its SS21 collection. Campaign photos for the collection recall familiar vacation snapshots at popular travel destinations on the West Coast — a father and son fishing on Lake Mead, a group of old friends gathered at the Hoover Dam, and a couple posing in front of the Hollywood sign, to name a few.

The collection was inspired by Roger Minick’s Sightseer Series, a photographic time capsule showcasing American tourists.

“From the Hollywood sign to the Hoover Dam, every family can be a Cherry family,” the press release states.

Included in the collection are a revamp of the California label’s nylon hiking set, western flannel and floral cargo pieces in new colorways. Zip-up hoodies, straight leg sweats and tank tops are emblazoned with the double Cherry logo, while for its California Vacation Shirt, the brand commissioned hand-painted watercolors to be printed onto Tencel fabric, resulting in a graphic homage to California’s quintessential vacation spots.

“This release encapsulates the spirit of a California vacation for you to wear all over the world,” the press release concludes.

“A Brighter Future” collection is available now on the Cherry LA website.
