Es Devlin's MasterClass Teaches You How to Strategize Turning Abstract Ideas Into Actual Art
The designer known for working on stage designs for Kanye West, The Weeknd, and more is here to give you her secret sauce.
If you’ve ever wondered who designed Kanye West‘s iconic mountain for his Yeezus Tour or The Weeknd‘s Super Bowl and Coachella stages, that’s Es Devlin. The influential creative has made a tremendous impact in the world of design as she’s worked with some of the biggest names in music as well as curated large-scale sculptural installations and designs across the realms of theater and visual arts. And now, she’s looking to supply us with her tips and tricks to success through her own MasterClass.
“We should be part of a world where we aren’t defined or diminished by narrow labels but can instead continue to grow and learn throughout our careers,” says Devlin when speaking on this new initiative. “In my class, I will help members turn their ideas into something they can hold in their hand and encourage those that might meet a fork in the road and don’t know which path to take to take both, and then take both again.”
The class is fashioned for creatives of all skill levels and will really hone in on what it means to be an artist, build your confidence, find inspiration, how to sketch, craft 3D products, strategize everything from conceptualizing to execution and more.
Peep the trailer here above and note that you can sign up for the class now on the MasterClass website.
