AAPE Has a Trio of New Balance 703 Collaborations on the Way
Coming in black, beige and olive green colorways.

BAPE and New Balance first joined forces on a collaborative 2002R collection earlier in the Summer, and given that that capsule was well-received amongst sneakerheads across the globe, both parties will be supplying even more offerings in the near future. This time around, the team-up will be executed through AAPE — a secondary line of BAPE — and will involve a trifecta of New Balance 703 colorways.
Each of these trail-meets-street renditions focus on a neutral-toned themes and come prepared with a blend of mesh, leather, and suede materials. There are black, olive green and beige installments involved in this release, all of which the Japanese imprint dresses up with “AAPE BY A BATHING APE” notations embroidered onto the front of the shoes, BAPE’s signature head logos that fill in the tiny bubbles on the tongues and co-branded hits and camouflage backdrops that adorn the insoles. More AAPE branding is written out on the heel tabs. Moreover, each proposition bears bursts of orange accents that pop up on the mid-foot’s Japanese characters and throughout the outsoles. Like the previously launched 2002R collection, this drop is also expected to include matching apparel items, but this has yet to be confirmed.
