Jordan Brand has presented its popular Air Jordan 1 Low in a new denim-doused makeup. Arriving alongside a denim-coated Air Jordan 1 Mid that draws from 2008’s Levi’s x Air Jordan 1 “23/501” pack, this low-cut Air Jordan 1‘s bold construction and unique details are inspired by the hard-wearing nature of classic workwear garments like reinforced jeans, denim jackets and more. It also offers shades of 2018’s Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 collaboration.
Uppers are mainly dressed in rich navy, and contrast washed denim toeboxes, tongues and quarters with smooth navy nubuck on the mudguard, eyestays and heel. Tan is the main accent color, and it serves as the primary tone on the midfoot Swoosh, the collar lining and the heel’s OG Air Jordan ball-and-wings logo. It’s also used for contrast stitching on many of the upper’s pieces. Red gets in on the mix as well, appearing on the tongue tag, insole’s branded stamp and the above-mentioned Swoosh’s stitching. White midsoles and tan outsoles finalize the look.
This denim-covered Air Jordan 1 Mid is set to release via Nike UK on September 9. Its MSRP is set at $110 USD.
