Early 2000s Record Label Star Trak Entertainment Unveils Its Inaugural Merch Collection
The Pharrell and Chad Hugo-founded label has hoodies, tees and crewnecks on deck.
From 2001-2015, Star Trak — a record label founded by Pharrell and Chad Hugo — functioned as a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. Its discography is home to some of the most popuolar pieces of music from Clipse’s Lord Willin’ album to Pharrell‘s In My Mind record to Snoop Dogg‘s R & G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece album. While the label is now extinct, it’s still staying connected to the culture through various apparel drops, and after teaming up alongside BBC, HUMAN MADE and more for collaborative collections, it’s taking the initiative to start its own in-house merch line.
For it’s first-ever self-produced line, the nostalgic label is bringing forth a duo of pullover hoodies, one being a vivd minty green colorway with slightly faded Star Trak graphics on the left chest and back while the other is a cream makeup with red branding. Two black crewnecks are part of the capsule including black/red and a black/cream offerings, the former having an abstract logo on the backside while the latter prints out an astronaut in outer space scene. Elsewhere in the assemblage you’ll find various graphic tees that come in baby blue, black and cream options.
The full collection is dropping on July 30 at 12pm EDT via the Star Trak site, and prices will range from price from $18-$125 USD.
