Quentin Tarantino Toys With Idea of 'Kill Bill 3' With Mother-Daughter Uma Thurman and Maya Hawke
Sharing his thoughts on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience.’

Quentin Tarantino has revealed his thoughts on a potential Kill Bill Volume 3 film. Should the thought become a reality, the director expressed his excitement for uniting mother-daughter duo, Uma Thurman and Maya Hawke, to take the big screen.
Tarantino speaks about the hypothetical casting on the Joe Rogan Experience sharing, “I think it’s just revisiting the characters 20 years later and just imagining the Bride and her daughter, Bebe, having 20 years of peace, and then that peace is shattered. And now the Bride and Bebe are on the run and just the idea of being able to cast Uma and cast her daughter Maya in the thing would be f***ing exciting.”
In 2019, Hawke worked with Tarantino in Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood and later landed a main role on Netflix’s Stranger Things. When the second Kill Bill installment was released in 2004, Tarantino revealed to the press that he was already thinking about a potential third film. He had alluded to the idea involving Vivica A. Fox’s character, who played the daughter of Vernita Green and tried to segue herself away from the assassination squad to live a normal life as a homemaker, to end up seeking her own revenge.
Back in 2004, Tarantino said, “The star will be Vernita Green’s daughter, Nikki. I’ve already got the whole mythology: Sofie Fatale [Julie Dreyfus] will get all of Bill’s money. She’ll raise Nikki, who’ll take on the Bride. Nikki deserves her revenge every bit as much as the Bride deserved hers.”
It remains to be seen if the idea will come to fruition since the director recently announced that he will be retiring after his 10th film.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Vin Diesel has hinted at a forthcoming spinoff of Charlize Theron’s Fast & Furious character.
