Mac Miller's Brother Seemingly Disapproves of Upcoming MGK Film 'Good News': “At Least Change the Title”
The movie, although fictional, will reportedly take inspiration from the lives of Miller, Lil Peep, Pop Smoke and Juice WRLD.
Miller McCormick, the brother of the late Mac Miller, supposedly shared his disapproval of Machine Gun Kelly‘s upcoming movie, Good News.
Taking to his Instagram Story, McCormick wrote three simple yet impactful lines: “f*ck you,” “f*ck your movie” and “at least change the title.” Although he did not namedrop the forthcoming film, his final sentence — “at least change the title” — can be a reference to Miller’s Circles track which also bears the title “Good News.”
Good News is directed and written by Tim Sutton and will focus on the final days of a talented but troubled musician. Despite the fact that the movie is fictional, an earlier report stated that it ““takes its inspiration from the arcs of such contemporary artists as Mac Miller, Lil Peep, Pop Smoke and Juice WRLD.” “Colson Baker is that rare talent who is ascending at an incredible pace both in film and music,” Rivulet Media’s Rob Paris said in a statement. “He is exactly the kind of artist that Rivulet Media is looking to partner with and we couldn’t be more excited to support him on both fronts, especially with Tim Sutton’s powerful screenplay and vision, which are custom tailored to Colson’s formidable skills.”
