The Nike FlyEase project began with Tobie Hatfield‘s vision to create no-lace sneakers with easy entry-and-closure systems for athletes who have trouble getting in and out of shoes. Since then, the distinct silhouettes in the FlyEase series have garnered mainstream adoption due to their comfort and convenience.

The Glide FlyEase Premium features a laceless mesh upper in “Blue Void” with “FLYEASE” marked pull tabs on the tongue and a recycled TPU heel clip in light red resembling aged steel. A soft and springy speckled marble midsole is visible from the top with the absence of insoles, adding to the minimalistic feel. Subtle accents include a Move To Zero logo on the collar and Nike swooshes across the toe, heel counter, and lace areas.

The Nike Glide FlyEase Premium will release in the coming weeks for $120 on Nike’s website and select retailers.

In other sneaker news, Nike’s Air Max 97 “First Use” arrives in Blood Orange.
