Nike Air More Uptempo "Loud and Clear" is Unveiled
A two-toned makeup that Georgetown fans would appreciate.

One can certainly make the argument that the 1990s basketball era was the most influential time period for sportswear and footwear as this is when many of the NBA greats like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen and others played. In terms of Nike athletes, Pippen was certainly one that was impacting the game at a high level during this time, and he quickly became associated with the Nike Air More Uptempo. The retro hoops silhouette is now being brought back to the table via a revival of its “Loud and Clear” iteration.
This two-toned makeup last saw a retail release back August of 2018, and it’s retained all of its original design cues. Premium and perforated leather uppers are mostly covered with a muted “Cool Grey” hue and come packaged with oversized AIR branding across the side panels that are filled in with a “Midnight Navy” tone to give off a Georgetown Hoya type of vibe. The embroidered Nike logo on the toe box along with the jeweled Swooshes embedded into the heels both come dressed in white while the tongue insignias deviate with a navy finish. Underneath, you’ll find that the primary colors of this pair bleed into the sole units, leaving the only other contrast to come from its translucent, full-length Air unit.
