Five colorways are set to be available — white, black, lime, olive and beige — and each features a classic mesh base with leather overlays on the forefoot, midfoot, eyestays and heel alike. Quarter panels are embellished with a large “CD” (Christian Dior) graphic and most but not all of the overlays are trimmed with contrasting lines. Further branding is provided by a bulbous Dior B30 badge on the tongue, an embossed Dior hit on the midsole and a touch of flair on the heel. A no-frills mix of EVA and rubber on the midsole and outsole completes the look.
Seeing a remixed runner from Dior should come as no surprise. Head men’s footwear designer Thibo Denis is heavily influenced by classic athletic styles — Travis Scott‘s Dior B713, and even its logo, draw directly from ’90s skate sneakers and the Dior B01 is seemingly equal parts Samba and Stan Smith.
Expect the B30 to release this October. Its MSRP is set at €890 EUR (approximately $1,056 USD).
