New Balance 57/40 Arrives in “Light Cliff Grey” and “Velocity Red”
Inspired by 1980s running shoes.
New Balance’s 57/40 is having a busy year. After making its debut at the beginning of January, the sneaker has been dressed in everything from the brand’s signature grey colorway, to a more recent thirst-quenching “Pink Lemonade”.
Now the brand returns to the popular silhouette for its latest iteration of “Light Cliff Grey/Velocity Red”, using the epochal 574 as its base material to become a modern update of one of the brand’s flagship styles.
Taking notes from classic 1980s running footwear, the 57/40 boasts a plethora of colorful layers on its upper, including “Light Cliff Grey” and “Velocity Red”, while hues of green and navy complete the look. Sat atop a cushioned sole unit, the sneaker is rounded out with classic branding on the tongue, and the archetypal “N” logo on the side.
New Balance’s 57/40 “Light Cliff Grey/Velocity Red” is available to buy now from the Aphrodite webstore.
