Detailed Look at the Aleali May x Air Jordan 4 "Veteran's Day"
A camo-coated style inspired by May’s father and his time in the US Army.

Aleali May often mines the depths of her personal history for inspiration when collaborating with Jordan Brand, and her Air Jordan 4 “Veteran’s Day” follows that ethos. It’s inspired by her father and his service in the US Army, and will be kept close to May — it’s a friends and family sneaker that won’t see a retail release.
May’s latest style draws from standard issue desert camo fatigues, with the entire upper dressed in a sandy camo pattern and constructed of a ripstop material. Its signature detail is present on the tongue: a removable diamond-shaped patch embellished with Air Jordan logos and inspired by the Colorado-based 4th Infantry Division Gator Brigade, the unit May’s father served in. Tan midsoles boast a premium suede overlay similar to the material seen on the KAWS x Air Jordan 4, and a quilted purple insole stamped with the stylist/model’s “A” logo completes the look.
The Aleali May x Air Jordan 4 “Veteran’s Day” was originally teased by May on Veteran’s Day 2020, where she revealed it was a tribute to her father, who fought in Operation Desert Storm and served in the army for a serendipitous 23 years. It’s uncertain why it’s surfacing now, as May has confirmed it won’t be available for purchase. However, she does have an Air Jordan 14 Low collaboration on the way later this year.
