Detailed Look at the KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low Collection
On and off-foot shots of the high-heat, three-party collaboration.
With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, Nike is rolling out a selection of high heat haute couture collaborations — one of which is a three-headed Blazer Low effort with KAWS and sacai. A key piece of the KAWS x sacai FW21 “Wearable Art” collection, this duo of double-stacked low top takes on the Blazer combine sacai head Chitose Abe‘s keen eye for detail with KAWS’ signature vibrant color palettes and inherent playfulness.
One pair is based around blue tones, using a sporty blue leather base and cool blue hues on the top eyestays and Swoosh. There’s also pops of green, yellow and pink thrown into the mix. The other pair uses a bold burgundy, embellished with coral and varsity red shades on its Swooshes and eyestays plus touches of yellow and light blue. Each pair also supplies signature sacai details like stacked heel pieces and double exposed foam tongues with co-branded badges. A finishing touch is supplied by KAWS’ familiar “XX” graphic on the lateral side of the midsole.
