Dom Pérignon and Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream Team Up For a Unique Ice Cream-Infused Omakase Experience
The seven-course menu pairing was made in collaboration between architect Stephanie Goto and Nick Morgenstern.
In most cases, it doesn’t take much convincing to get people to enjoy an Omakase dinner or a glass of champagne, but what if those two things were brought together in a unique, ice-cream infused way? That’s exactly what architect Stephanie Goto and Nick Morgenstern of Morganstern’s Finest Ice Cream in NYC have done. Together, they’ve created a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Dom Pérignon and Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream that entails a unique seven-course menu pairing. It’s launching to coincide with the release of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2003 Plénitude 2 and National Ice Cream Day on July 18, and serves as a reinterpretation of American and French classics through a Japanese lens.
This elevated experience merges ingredients from Goto’s Japanese heritage such as uni, wasabi, shisho and squid ink with innovative ice cream flavors — one being a soy sauce-based flavor that is extremely delectable — designed exclusively for the menu by Morgenstern’s. À la carte options are on deck for you to enjoy including that of a toro ‘burger’ paired with a glass of Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2006, a prismatic matcha and red bean sundae that’s coupled with Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 Vintage 2003 and a caviar trompe l’oeil ice cream cone that’s served alongside a glass Dom Pérignon Vintage 2010
This dining experience only be available once a week, by reservation only on RESY, starting on July 20. It will be held at the Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream Sundae Bar on 88 Houston in NYC. The à la carte pairings will be available every Tuesday from noon to 10 PM via reservations as well.
