Much like 2020, New Balance is having themselves one heck of a year and has garnered a healthy amount of attraction for its striking releases, especially its collaborations with the likes of Salehe Bembury, Bodega and AURALEE. One of its models that’s picked up the tempo in terms of its output is the Made in UK New Balance 991, and its just emerged in a fresh earth-toned palette.
The primary shade of this street-ready iteration is an olive green as it engulfs the suede mid-foot panels. Sitting beneath this is a dusty brown mesh layer, while mossy suedes land on the forefoot and the lateral heels bring in a mustard-y hit. Mudguards are made with a dark brown overlay and the heels are presented with a beige wall. Additional characteristics worth mentioning here are the embroidered 991 heel furnishings which are coated in an olive hue, as well as the interior linings which are crafted with white finishes. As usual, the side N logos come with their reflective capabilities and come outlined in white.
Parties who are interested in copping can find these available exclusively through UNITED ARROWS for ¥30,800 (approx. $280 USD).
In case you missed it, The Apartment and New Balance recently joined hands for a 574 “Mustard Dip” collaboration.
