Bodega first opened its doors in 2006, and throughout its 15 years of business, it has built up a reputation for proffering its consumers with immersive shopping experiences, a well-curated selection of streetwear apparel and footwear and a wealth of striking collaborations. Up next for the Boston-based imprint is a New Balance 990v3 project, and accompanying the release is an old school”Here to Stay” campaign that nods to the store’s impact, longevity and plans to continue building.

The shoes are predominantly designed with neutral tones, but also invite in subtle accents that are sprinkled throughout the base layer. The mesh and soft suede materials that make up most of the ground are tinted to a muted brown and come seated next to light beige leather overlays situated on the toe boxes and collars. A refreshing aqua tone is responsible for smothering the interior liners while burst of orange are found on the eyelets and New Balance branding towards the front. Anniversary branding is printed atop the insoles as well as the heels, the latter of which splits between the year “2006” on the left foot’s heel while a “2021” graces the right side. Rounding everything off down below is a gum outsole.

The Bodega x New Balance 990v3 “Here to Stay” drops on June 16 for $200 USD online via Bodega.
