Doctor Strange's Iron Man 'Avengers: Endgame' Concept Art Is Getting Its Own Hot Toys Figure
Celebrating what could’ve been.
Back in 2019 after the release of Avengers: Endgame, concept art from the film’s production surfaced revealing Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Doctor Strange donning Iron Man‘s suit, an image and idea that became immensely popular among Marvel fans. While it remains a shame that the crossover never made it to the silver screen, Hot Toys is now here to save the day with its very own 1/6th figure of Iron Strange himself.
Standing roughly 30 cm tall, the figure carries the usual 30 points of articulation and a diecast armored body filled with exceptional details, including the Sorcerer Supreme’s Eye of Agamotto which replaces the usual Arc Reactor donned by Tony Stark. There’s a whole range of weapons and Doctor Strange-inspired power components as well, including LED light-up Energy Displacer Sentries which can be attached to various display stands, Iron Man hand cannons, blue-tinted light mandalas, a mystical light sword, and a series of different hand gestures to accompany them. It also comes with a dynamic figure stand paired with a nameplate and spaceship-themed backdrop for display purposes.
For those interested, Hot Toys’ Iron Strange special edition 1/6th figure is now available for pre-order over on Sideshow Collectibles for $440 USD.
Elsewhere in toys, LEGO has reconstructed Darth Vader’s meditation chamber from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
