Tailored Suits and Graffiti Shades, Alexander McQueen Bridges The Gap For FW21
With silhouettes tapping into the DNA of its womenswear range.








British luxury fashion house Alexander McQueen unveils the lookbook to its latest Fall/Winter 2021 collection, shot by HYPEBEAST. With a continued focus on exaggerated silhouettes, bold volumes and clean lines the offering echoes design cues of the label’s womenswear range.
Adopting a saturated color palette and paper cut prints, the collection comprises of an array of outerwear, denim and sweaters, fit for the winter months as well as a selection of formal suits and accessories. Channeling the brand’s British heritage through its unconventional aesthetic, stand-out pieces include its oversized puffa coat, tailored wool felt double-breasted suit, and stonewashed denim and khaki polyfaille hybrid jacket
As well as apparel, Alexander McQueen combines its signature use of fine materials and intricate craftsmanship with functional design for its latest footwear offering. The collection features a selection of “Worker Boots” with exaggerated toes sitting on a combat rubber sole for added durability, including the “Pieced and Patched Boots” which merge this sole with a formal brogue design on the upper. Rounding up the footwear is the “Chelsea Tread Slick” boots. Boasting a bright color palette, they arrive in two new seasonal colorways, “Welsh Red” and “Ultramarine”.
Completing the FW21 collection is a series of eyewear. The acetate “McQueen Graffiti Sunglasses” come in a variety of colored lenses fixed on black frames with “McQueen” adorned on the arms in different colorways inspired by the street art scene.
