Independent Stockholm-based eyewear label CHIMI is branching out by broadening its ACTIVE line, introducing its all-new snorkel.
What may seem like a left-field product is actually something that could come in handy in our day-to-day lives — because as we know, face masks have become second nature over the past year or so. CHIMI ACTIVE’s snorkel is not necessarily a face mask, but it does cover the entire face and is split between a high transmission mirror lens that provides 100-percent UV protection and a lower section in either black or white for breathability.
Designed with a 100-percent leakproof respiratory system, the mask is officially designed to be used for underwater exploration and helps you breathe thanks to its ergonomic breathing chamber design and the O2 suction and CO2 venting channels. All of this information is detailed on the breathing apparatus, while the mask itself sports a chromatic screen and a small piece of branding on the side.
Available in two sizes (small/medium or large/xlarge), the CHIMI ACTIVE snorkel can be seen above and purchased from CHIMI’s website and its flagship store in Stockholm now, costing just $100 USD.
Elsewhere, JW Anderson has recently revealed its collaboration with Persol (and we got to speak with the designer about it all).
