Snoh Aalegra Releases Music Video for New Single "Lost You"
The new tune shows the R&B crooner reflecting on a past lover.
A couple of weeks removed from announcing her forthcoming record Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies — which is set to arrive on July 9 and features Tyler, the Creator and James Faunterloy — Snoh Aalegra has returned with her latest single titled “Lost You” along with its accompanying visual. Production of the new track is lead by No I.D. and features assistance from Maneesh.
On this latest ballad, the R&B artist once again delivers her sultry vocals and expresses them in a way that is both somber and reflective. “Although I’ve lost you
I, I’ll always want you”, Aalegra sings on the opening lines of the chorus — essentially communicating her longing for a former lover. Backdropping the melancholy lyrics are moody synths and medium-paced bass notes. The music video was directed by I.P.W — who also assisted in creating her visual for “I Want You Around” — and it totals out to three minutes on the dot. As usual, the Swedish singer doesn’t hold back on her fashion style as many a clip show her dressed in chic and glamorous garments.
