New Balance's Latest Made in England 920 Adds Rich Red and Navy Accents
Atop a familiar gray and white base.
Flimby, UK’s New Balance factory is the home of the New Balance 920 — and the coastal village has cranked out another clean colorway of the hybrid silhouette, namely one that combines rich red and navy accents with a familiar base. This juxtaposition of bold and elegant colors is a fitting style for the 920 to take on, as it already combines two divergent parts: a new-jack upper with a midsole drawn directly from the New Balance 990v3.
The upper is a jumble of overlays, most notably on the midfoot where navy, red and black all coalesce around a silver N logo. There’s classic gray to be seen on the mudguard and heel, while more hits of red and navy appear on the tongue and collar. White mesh peeks through below the midfoot’s overlay array and on the toebox, while down below a two-tone ENCAP midsole is used to finalize the look.
Expect this fresh colorway of the New Balance Made in England 920 to release via retailers like 43einhalb on June 26. Its MSRP is set at €189.95 EUR (approximately $226 USD).
